The Paradox to being a "Man of God"

It's about time I bring this back...

What better way for resurrection than to honor the women in my life...This blog is for you!

Let's face it... true men can never be! I have come to realize how close to impossibility it is to become a true "Man of God"...

Let me explain...

First let me define "Man of God"...
(noun) A man who will fight, love, honor, and respect his God; A man who's sole purpose is to live a courageous life of righteousness, responsibility and duty; A man who provides, preaches and protects; A man who loves his family; A man who will sacrifice for his loved ones.
AKA: Gentleman Warrior Christian
(adjective) To be like Jesus Christ

Ok.. so why isn't it achievable?

One cannot be a "Man of God" if he fails to be a "Man of Woman" first...

How can a Man love God if he can't even love his woman ?

It is one thing us guys forget..... OUR ROLE TO WOMEN

I will attest and apologize; I cannot be a Man of God because I have failed to be a true man for the women in my life...

I disrespected her....
I failed to notice her pain....
I placed my desires over her, treating her as mere objects of fantasy and lust...
I disgraced her with bitter words, dirty jokes, inappropriate gestures...
I neglected her needs....
I lowered her because of my pride...
I took advantage of her emotions...
I walked away from her...
I placed my needs before her needs...
I grew angry of her because she was right...
I took pride over her because I know she was wrong...
I didn't provide for her...
I didn't protect her...
I didn't love her...

I don't know why this just came to me right now...this overwhelming feeling of collective guilt. Just earlier today, I was making negative and inappropriate comments in front of some girls in SFC. I guess I lost it and got carried away because I was too busy catering to the shallow minded humor of my male counterparts. I was soo caught up... I forgot to put myself in their shoes. And to think I'm supposed to be a Christian man? And to think I'm supposed to be a responsible leader? My father and grandfather never raised me like this?  How can I be like Jesus if I can't even be a man? What a slap to my face!

I'm gonna tell you something though - women are stronger than men...

Because no matter how much we hurt or wrong them , they will always come out stronger than us at the end! Us guys simply get lost in our pride and ignore our faults... Women actually express their emotions, learn from them and then get back on their feet to become stronger individuals.

But there is hope....The paradox can be broken.... We can achieve being Men of God

Wake up! Suck it up! Be a man!

Realize how precious they are: they are your moms, sisters, aunts, cousins, friends, co-workers, girlfriends, etc.

Because you know... I would rather face eternal damnation in the foulest pit of hell than being in an eternal paradise without women!!
